| [19-JUL-2009] We reached to Budapest at the evening by the private vehicle. The Danube river along the journal, the most beautiful in Budapest. After we got in to the apartment we hurried went out on foot to the Váci Street which is the shopping street. We walked through the street to the Danube river by along the way with a lot of solvenior shops. We saw Széchenyi Chain Bridge decorated with the light so perfectly, but that day the bridge was closed for the vehicle, there are many shop were selling the stuff on the street floor, and sure, we got something. The Széchenyi Chain Bridge was so stunning, we walked along the bridge across Danube river to another side then we walked back again to the apartment.
[20-JUL-2009] We woke up at the morning and went to the "Hungarian Royal Palace"(Buda Castle) which we had to across Széchenyi Chain Bridge again, until we reached another side, the palace was there but we have to walked up to the top of the hill (there is also the cable car, but the queue was long). about less then 30 minutes we got to the palace. We took half day in palace and there are a lot of tourist, on top of the palace there are many spots which we can see the Danube river and the curve of it was so adorable as long as the parliament architecture. We went down from the royal palace and we took the local train to Andrássy Avenue-Opera House we captured some photo there. We spent all of the evening at the very big park. The park is whole island in the Danube river called Margaret Island, and there are a lot of the local people there at the evening for exercise. The Thermal Bath is famous in Hungary, and we didn't miss it, we went to one of the famous Thermal bath and we spent time there until it closed then we got back to the apartment around 10 PM. |
