Every 05th December is “Father Day” in Thailand so it’s also the holiday I call to some of my friend plan for the trip and here we go…
[05-12-2008] At the morning this trip started from Bangkok to “Kangkrajarn National Park” in Petchburi province which located at the south of Bangkok about 150 km. to get to Kangkrajarn we had to drive to the south pass Samutr Sakorn – Samut Songkram – Ratch Buri then Petchburi province, about 2.30 hours we reached the dam at the down of national park then we parked there to capture the picture and breath for the fresh air for a while.
We went to the national park office to ask about how and where to live in this holiday with a lot of people flooding to here. Immediately we reached the office we can see there were a lot of people making tent behind the national park which is also very nice view of the dam. We went to ask the officer that where else can we stayed over the night which there are lesser people than this place, they ask us about out vehicle and we answer that we comes with the 4x4 vehicle, so they recommend us to rent the tents and sleeping tools stuff from here and drive up to the national park up there, so we trust them. After we rent many thing we bought many stuff eating and living and we went to have lunch with one many nice view restaurant and taste good. We finished lunch and relax for a while then we went up to the national park not so long time about 30 minutes we reach the tent point, we immediately make the tent and went up to the highest point of the national park.
We took about 2.30 hours to the highest point (Panountthung) which along the way we had to cross many small small river with the bad terrain street, swerves, curves and cliffs and we strongly recommend that 4x4 vehicle needed.
We reached Panounthung with the 2-3 C from downer and windy we like it a lot but we cannot stayed for long time due to we reached it about 3.30 pm and we have to prepare the time to drive down so we can stayed there just for only 1.30 hours then we drive down.
We had dinner and went to the temple due to a person at restaurant said to us that there is the event a the temple so we drive there joined the event and drive back to the tent point.
Before we went to sleep we heard some sound very loud inside the far jungle it seemed like the elephant, so we ask the officer about that sound they told us not panic, it’s just the “Deer” but we still thinking that why is was too loud and looks critical.
[05-12-2008] We woke up at the morning and collecting the atmosphere around the tent point and we drive down to return the tent then we drive back. We had lunch at “Dorn Hoy Lord”(ดอนหอยหลอด) in Samut Sonkram Province which attached to the sea, I strongly recommend to order the menu name “Hoylord fried with Pepper and Garlic” and the restaurant is very nice sitting place which I think I can stayed there for all day. After that we took about 2 hours drive back to Bangkok.
